Krampe ISOBUS Digitale Technik vom Schlepper bis zum Kipper

ISOBUS is revolutionising the control of state-of-the-art agricultural machinery by creating a uniform interface between the tractor and implement – irrespective of the manufacturer.

This internationally standardised technology enables the direct operation of all device functions via an ISOBUS-compatible terminal, eliminating the need for separate operating terminals in the tractor’s cab. All of which saves space, simplifies operation, while reducing costs, as a single terminal can be used for a wide range of machinery. The cross-manufacturer compatibility and the option of controlling functions intuitively via ISOBUS operating devices such as the tractor’s drive lever or other operating elements, make ISOBUS a particularly convenient and efficient solution.

Seamlessly integrating the tractor and implement hones cooperation between the machinery. Functions such as machine operation can be controlled centrally, thus optimising work processes and reducing the driver’s workload. ISOBUS underpins forward-looking technology such as Tractor Implement Management (TIM), which further automates the interaction between the tractor and implement. Data monitoring and analysis systems, such as telemetry systems, also benefit from the standardised interface.

ISOBUS makes the operation of state-of-the-art agricultural machinery not only simpler and more efficient, but also more future-proof. The technology provides the ideal base for further developing agriculture to ensure sustainability and productivity.

Convenience and efficiency Intelligent ISOBUS solutions from Krampe

At Krampe we leverage the diverse possibilities of the ISOBUS standard to make our vehicles even more efficient and convenient to operate. In autumn 2023, we introduced electro-hydraulic steering controlled entirely via ISOBUS. The complete operation of our RamBody model via ISOBUS followed in spring 2024, and since autumn 2024 customers have also been able to control our hook-lift entirely using this technology.
One of our key strengths is the integration of different subsystems to create a holistic vehicle system. Our electric steering is not only fitted in the vehicle as a separate ISOBUS system, but is controlled via a centralised ISOBUS gateway that also covers other vehicle functions. This solution makes for a leaner architecture of the control devices and cable harnesses, which increases efficiency and reliability.
We are also one of the first vehicle manufacturers to create an ISOBUS connection to an electronic braking system (EBS). Via this interface, important data from the EBS system, such as bellows pressure or tyre pressure can be called up easily. At the same time, it opens up the option of controlling functions of the electronic air suspension. This innovative connection can be integrated both into the overall vehicle control unit as well as into the control unit for additional functions governing the steering.
Another new feature includes the control of the steering via AUX-N. This function offers major benefits particularly when manoeuvring and substantially increases work comfort.
With ISOBUS, we have created at Krampe an intelligent, flexible and future-proof control solution that offers our customers maximum user friendliness and efficiency.

Innovative ISOBUS control unit for the RamBody

With the launch of the RamBody at Agritechnica 2023 and delivery from April 2024, Krampe is setting new standards in the operation of state-of-the-art agricultural trailers. Thanks to the full integration of the ISOBUS technology, all functions of the RamBody can be controlled intuitively and efficiently.
The ISOBUS control unit supports the control of all main functions, such as the push blade, tailgate, chopping flap and different types of covers and underride guards. Many of these functions are also fitted with automatic modes that simplify and accelerate workflows. The AUX-N system can also be used to control work functions directly via control elements on the tractor, which further improves convenience.
A particular highlight is the faster unloading through the load sensing system, which guarantees a high volume-flow rate. Special additional functions such as pressure-dependent auto-compression or speed-dependent unloading ensure maximum efficiency and adaptability to different operating conditions. An integrated pressure indicator of the ram system and a digital bellows pressure manometer with conversion function provide precise monitoring of the load and the pressure.
Besides the work functions, the RamBody also provides control of electrical loads, such as flood lamps and the lift axle, as well as the monitoring of the running gear functions via the EBS system. Safety switches for cover and tailgate ensure smooth, safe operation. Status feedback from various functions also constantly provides an overview of the current operating state of the trailer.
Optionally, the RamBody can be combined with a steering system. The steering can also be controlled via AUX-N, which ensures convenient manoeuvring.
The RamBody with ISOBUS is the perfect combination of state-of-the-art technology and user-friendly operation – for maximum efficiency and reliability in agricultural operations.

THL hook-lift

With the ISOBUS control unit for our hook-lift systems, Krampe offers a forward-looking solution for maximum efficiency and convenient operation in agricultural and commercial operations. The technology provides intuitive control of all centralised functions such as main boom, articulated boom, ram and container locking mechanism. Some of these functions are also equipped with automatic modes to simplify and accelerate workflows.
With the integration of the load sensing system, users benefit from rapid turnaround times thanks to a high volume flow rate. In addition, the pressure indicator of the master cylinders and a digital bellows pressure manometer with conversion function ensure precise control and monitoring. The system also displays warnings from the EBS system, such as a tip-over warning to guarantee safety while unloading.
The ISOBUS technology offers advanced control features, such as the operation of oil connections at the rear or hook mast. Users can switch flexibly between momentary and locking-type actuation to adjust optimally various functions on the container. Electrical loads such as flood lamps or the lift axle can be operated simply, as can the running gear functions of the EBS system.
The system can be fitted optionally with remote control operation to increase flexibility. The simple switching between the display and the remote control makes for convenient control right on the vehicle or remotely.
In addition, the hook-lift can be combined with an optional steering system. The steering is controlled in manual mode via AUX-N and so offers precise and convenient operation, especially when manoeuvring.
Our ISOBUS control unit for the hook-lift combines state-of-the-art technology with sophisticated operating comfort to guarantee maximum productivity and safety with everyday operations.
