Smart details Tailgate for example

A typical innovation from Krampe is the automatic closure of the tailgate using self-adjusting side locking hooks near the floor. Virtually all our market rivals have now also adopted this design. 

The hydraulic tailgate fitted as standard in the BigBody is technically sophisticated and “rapeseed-proof”.

A neat solution: The end profile of the tailgate is slanted. This prevents the accumulation of dirt and crops. Less dirt on roads and paths bolsters road safety.

Made from a single piece

The side panels and the sheet-metal floor panels of the tipper are made from a single sheet. Two belly straps on the tridem ensure increased stability and prevent the long body from bowing.

The tried-and-tested BigBody series has sold in its thousands and stands out with its appealingly simple design and high reliability. The folded metal body sheets ensure optimum rigidity. The conical body shape helps the load slide.

All components are welded to create an all-round watertight seal.

The running gear plays a pivotal role.

Krampe running gears are not off-the-shelf standard products. The Krampe engineers are known for their outstanding running gear expertise. They match optimally each running gear to the required application.

Virtually all tippers can be approved for different speeds of up to 80 km/h.

BPW axles are fitted as standard in our vehicles. The overhead brake cylinders are an innovation that only Krampe offers at present. Invented by us, made for us.
