SHL operating principle

When containers are lifted and tipped, air is released from the running gear bellows (fast lowering valve), a process which offers a host of advantages:

1. The lowered roller height results in a very low lift angle
2. The effectiveness of the two main working cylinders is improved as their associated tilt angle gets bigger and this in turn increases the lifting capacity
3. When lifting the containers, the chassis is supported on the rear axle, eliminating the need for complex hydraulic support
4. The stability when tipping and emptying the roll-off containers is increased
   • The standard push arm has a stroke of 1.65 m (depending on the equipment) when lifting the containers, this ensures a shallow mounting angle
   • A hydraulic internal locking mechanism is supplied as standard that also allows containers with different lengths to be locked in place in any position
   • The functions for the container locking mechanism and locking mechanism for the drop frame are monitored via sensors to prevent operating errors
   • Comes with wireless remote control for all hydraulic functions as standard
