The twin-axle series comprises vehicles that can be detached and parked at the field edge or on the yard without a tractor unit, and loaded independently. At the same time, they are suitable for operation in a trailer combination. The body is of modular design, allowing the platform to be replaced or adapted as required – similar to the TDK. As is typical for Krampe, these vehicles leave nothing to be desired in terms of equipment and follow our principle of “quality on wheels”.
A rigid Y- or V-drawbar (2100 mm) and an adjustable Y-drawbar are available. The latter can be flexibly adjusted from 1700 to 2300 mm.
The hose holder ensures tidy storage of hoses and cables after coupling – nothing gets in the way and everything is within easy reach.
The ZDK is equipped with two release valves as standard. The first releases the drawbar, allowing the turntable axle to be moved, which facilitates coupling. The second valve releases the entire trailer.
The turntable is offset eccentrically by 6 cm relative to the first axle. This creates a self-tracking effect that noticeably improves handling when driving in a train.
The three-way tipper enables a tipping angle of 51° to the rear and 42° to the side, allowing precise and clean unloading. To switch between side and rear tipping, pins are inserted into the tipping hinge. These are designed in such a way that incorrect use is prevented.
The side walls with rolled profiles are an in-house development by Krampe. The folds serve to reinforce the structure while also giving the body a modern design.
With internal dimensions of 2.42 × 5.00 m, the load space of the ZDK18 and TDK18 offers sufficient room to securely accommodate up to twelve pallets on the floor. This allows materials and goods to be loaded and transported efficiently. The body runs parallel over the entire length.
The impact-resistant three-chamber tail lights are complemented by side marker lights. Clearly visible lighting contributes significantly to safety.
Cranked levers adapt optimally to the available installation space and therefore remain easy to operate. Rubberised grip surfaces ensure a secure hold – even in frost and wet conditions.
The underrun protection is COC-certified. The square tube is positioned in such a way that no dirt can accumulate on it.
The horizontally running stainless steel seal closes the body in a rapeseed-tight manner, is frost-resistant and reliably seals through the pressure of the side wall against the floor plate. The seal is replaceable.
Available as an option: The discharge slide runs in plastic guides. The lever can be mounted on either the left or right side.
