Two-way tipper design
Body tipper designed as two-way tipper. Side-tipping body tippers combine the robustness of a backwards tipper with the flexibility of a side tipper.
Due to the fixed welded centre post and the continuous top frame, the bodies are extremely stable and torsion-resistant. This frame design also creates the ideal configuration for attaching a hydraulically operated tailgate to ensure grain tightness and guarantee stability.
The two side panels are mounted using a pivot mechanism and can be opened from the bottom with a heavy-duty central locking mechanism. The side panels are totally smooth on the inside, allowing the load to slide out unimpeded. Due to the design with the central post and top frame, the side panels are integrated into a solid outer frame, a guarantee for long service life, distortion is practically impossible.
Two-way tippers are a very popular solution today. They can usually be tipped to the rear and to the left. The right-hand side is manufactured as a closed side panel, just like on standard body tippers. This substantially enhances torsional stiffness, particularly with very long bodies or with an uneven load. Cleaning is also easier as there are fewer moving components, joints and cracks.
