BigBody body
The load capacity has been optimised thanks to the curved design of the side panels and the extremely narrow structure of the side linkages. The inside of the body is 8 cm wider than the previous model. The side panels (3 mm thick) and the metal floor panel are each made from a single piece. Folding optimises the rigidity of the material. At the same time, the number of welds and cavities are reduced.
The top frame made of large rectangular tubing 100 x 80 mm is flush at the top. The all-round “belly strap” transfers the forces produced to the robust top frame. The frame is welded all-round, eliminating the chance of rusting.
By getting rid of unnecessary stanchions, the BigBody stands out with its stylish looks, while also reducing its tare weight. The body height is 1.52 m, and the conical bridge (10 cm narrower at the front) makes it easier for the load to slide off. The beams of the body are made from solid rectangular tubing and are sealed on all sides, making them easy to clean. The entire underfloor is heavily ribbed, which means that the vehicle can also transport heavy material such as topsoil with ease. An inspection window with a cover plate is provided as standard.
The hydraulic tailgate developed by KRAMPE with automatic closure at the bottom is included as standard. The cylinders of the hydraulic tailgate are retracted into the transport position. The side mudguards are bolted and the steep configuration prevents loads from building up at these points. Besides the usual silage extensions, a variety of other special equipment is available.
