New: Krampe earth-moving tipper with forced steering and 2.55 m overall width

The first Krampe earth-moving tipper with hydraulic forced steering and an overall width of 2.55 m recently left the production plant. An ideal solution for anyone looking for a manoeuvrable trailer while also paying attention to an overall width that is as narrow as possible on the construction site.

High demands are placed on the manoeuvrability of trailers on a construction site. A hydraulic forced steering ensures far better manoeuvrability here and supports precise control, even under confined conditions.

To maintain a low overall width of 2.55 m despite the steering axle, Krampe now offers a narrower chassis with a track width of 1,950 mm for selected models. This option is available for the earth-moving tippers HD550 and HD620 in the Heavy Duty series and for the sand and gravel tipper models SK550 and SK600.

The new configuration can also be combined with 600-size tyres with minimal soil impact and an air suspension. The air suspension not only provides greater driver comfort but also allows the vehicle to be lowered during tipping – providing more stability while unloading.

The hydraulic forced steering with BPW axles improves manoeuvrability and reduces tyre wear, protects the ground surface and increases driving stability – especially at higher speeds or during tight cornering.
