Krampe FlexMount

Originally developed for the new Krampe FlexBody three-way tippers, the system has already proven itself in the field. Krampe is therefore now extending the concept to its silage extensions.

At the same time, FlexMount is also being introduced on BigBody body tippers and RamBody push-off trailers. On these models, a profile tube with an integrated clamping rail gradually replaces the previous upper frame rail of the body. In this configuration as well, FlexMount enables the easy installation and retrofitting of a wide range of attachments without welding or drilling.

A flexible system
FlexMount is based on a proprietary mounting groove in which fastening elements can be positioned continuously along the groove and securely clamped. This makes it easy to install or retrofit equipment such as cover systems, lighting, camera systems, access ladders, sidewall lifting springs, potato tarps, tension bars or load securing systems whenever required.

On the FlexBody three-way tipper and Krampe silage extensions, the mounting groove is integrated directly into the sidewall profile. Easy-to-operate hinges allow the sidewalls or silage extensions to be quickly disengaged and folded down.

On BigBody body tippers and RamBody push-off trailers, a profile tube with an integrated clamping rail will replace the previous upper frame rail of the body. This enables attachments to be mounted flexibly along the entire length of the vehicle. In addition to its clamping function, the new design also provides the structural reinforcement previously delivered by the upper frame rail while continuing to form the continuous upper edge of the body. An integrated drainage slope further reduces dirt accumulation and makes cleaning easier.

Robust design with standardized components
The profile design of the FlexBody sidewalls and silage extensions ensures high dimensional stability and permanently precise alignment of the mounting groove. Robot-welded profile sidewalls guarantee high-quality material joints.

Across all vehicle series, Krampe uses standardized fastening components. The same components are used regardless of sidewall height, simplifying inventory management, spare parts availability and retrofitting.
