Krampe expands hook lift portfolio: THL 20 L now also available as a customized version

Since 2023, Krampe has already been manufacturing the THL 20 L Carrier and THL 20 L Carrier + models in modular design. In this concept, the Hyva hook device is integrated directly into the chassis as individual components without an additional subframe. This reduces net weight and increases performance.

Due to increasing customer demand, Krampe is now adding the THL 20 L as a customized version to its portfolio. The model achieves a permissible gross vehicle weight of up to 24,000 kg and a payload of up to 18,400 kg without container. A tipping assistance cylinder is installed as standard; the lifting capacity for pick-up containers from ground level is approx. 20 t at 200 bar.

The objective is to offer a wider range of equipment and configuration options in order to optimally adapt the vehicle to different operating regions, standards and transport tasks.

Extended equipment options:

• Large braking system and large 26-t chassis –
  designed for tough journeys, e.g. in mountainous terrain
• Axle cross-section of 150 mm
• Tyres up to 26.5”
• Electric forced steering possible
• Soon available with push-knee function:
  enables containers to be pulled on at a flatter angle – advantageous for heavy containers or bulk materials such as grain to reduce spillage
• Selectable axle distances (1570 mm and 1810 mm)

This allows the vehicle to be optimally adapted to various hooklift standards and country-specific regulations. With the THL 20 L Individual, Krampe is responding to increasing international requirements as well as the demand for maximum configurability combined with high technical performance.
