Big tippers for big tasks: 2x4 powerful Krampe six-wheelers

The trend for larger vehicles and more extensive orders is continuing, especially among contracting companies. Recently, four Halfpipe HP 30 earth moving tippers were handed over to the agricultural contracting company Heinisch GbR from Northern Germany. Last year, agricultural contractor Lommatzscher Pflege e.G., a company based near Dresden, added four BigBody 900 S trailers to their fleet.

Both the six-wheel earth moving tipper and the side tipper are one of the biggest vehicles in their respective classes. Thanks to the individual equipment options, the trailers can be optimally adapted to the needs of the owner and offer an extremely high degree of efficiency without compromising driving comfort, user friendliness and work safety.

BigBody 900 S: a tried and tested trailer for harvesting
The BigBody 900 two-way tipper was given the opportunity to prove itself during last year’s harvest. With an on-site payload of 28 tonnes and a transport volume of 46.1 m³ (when equipped with 80 cm extensions), the new vehicles made a significant contribution to the power and efficiency of the company.

Lommatzscher Pflege e.G. has a team of 55 employees that takes care of around 2,700 hectares. In addition to looking after 1000 dairy cows, they also cultivate cereals, sugar beet and maize that is used as feed for the animals and as fuel for the farm’s own biogas plant. They also produce vegetables for Frosta.

Until recently, the company was still using dump trucks that were developed in cooperation with an institute in Meißen before the German reunification. The practically historic trailers have now been replaced by four BigBody 900 two-way tippers. The entire team and managing director Jens Klobuch are all very happy with the modern vehicles: “After ten years, we have finally found the perfect vehicles for us. During the harvest operations, we were able to save an entire transport unit thanks to the new BigBodys, allowing us to work more efficiently.”

Heinisch GbR invests in earthworks equipment
The agricultural contracting company Heinisch GbR also needs powerful transportation equipment. With their on-site payload of around 30 tonnes and a transport volume of 19.4 m³, the four new halfpipe HP 30 earth moving tippers have been a welcome addition to the company’s modern fleet.

Company founder Werner Heinisch knows exactly the requirements that need to be met to create efficient transport solutions thanks to his decades of experience as a full-time farmer. His company offers a wide variety of services – from agricultural work like soil cultivation, sowing, fertilising and harvesting, through to earthworks, civil engineering and demolition work.

The new Krampe tippers were recently picked up from the factory in person. “The four new halfpipes will allow us to be more flexible and provide more power when it comes to earthworks”, explains Christian Heinisch, son of the company founder and managing director. “Our drivers are happy – both with the new Halfpipes and the improved driving comfort thanks to their air suspension.”

Demand for six-wheel vehicles is continuing to grow, Krampe has experienced a 25% increase in sales compared to last year. With these bigger transport solutions, companies can increase their efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and remain competitive in the long term.
