Our initiatives

Regional suppliers

We consciously collaborate with many regional suppliers. This collaboration means we can ensure short delivery paths, which substantially reduces CO2 emissions. Rolling transport systems also help us to cut down on packaging materials and thus minimise waste.

Durability of our products

Our tippers, known for their “Quality on Wheels”, stand out with maximum reliability and a long service life. This durability reduces resource consumption and offers our customers long-term cost efficiency.

Environmentally friendly paintwork

Our paint system has a high solid content, which reduces the emissions of solvents. We give the paint enough time to dry to minimise CO2 emissions and stay below the prescribed values.

Use of biogas and district heat

Our offices and production halls are heated entirely using district heat from a nearby biogas plant. This reduces our energy consumption from fossil fuels and minimises CO2 emissions.

'Photovoltaic systems

With our in-house photovoltaic system, we produce 150% of our own electricity needs on the roofs of our company building. The surplus power is fed into the grid, helping us promote renewable energies.

Participation in wind power projects

Krampe is actively involved in building a nearby community wind farm in Coesfeld-​​Flamschen, Germany. Green electricity has been produced here since early 2020. Once complete, the systems will generate enough power for 20,000 homes. This healthy mix of renewable energies bolsters our commitment to a sustainable future.
